On January 27, 2024, STEP For A Better World LEO Club’s President/Website Developer/LEO MD-16 Director Nimeesh Sharma & LEO MD-16 Secretary Anika Bawa attended the Multiple District Conference in which they presented how to be an active member in their LEO Club. They also gave a presentation on how to be a leader and how to organize new projects in their clubs. They also attended workshops that involved skills such as public speaking, time management, member motivation and teamwork. They spoke during a panel about public speaking and how you shouldn’t be afraid of it. During their part, they talked about their experiences joining as a LEO during the COVID-19 pandemic and how our club has grown over time, showcasing great leadership and ability from everyone in STEP.
