STEP For A Better World is an NJ-based, student-led nonprofit community organization established in 2013 and inaugurated as a Leo Club in 2019. Sponsored by the West Windsor Lions Club and affiliated with Lions Club International, a global humanitarian organization, the organization is dedicated to serving the underprivileged through service projects, collection drives, and fundraisers while empowering youth to serve selflessly. Our members range from elementary school students to those with advanced degrees across NJ, and our service has spanned 12 countries globally..
Mission
STEP For A Better World LEO Club is committed to empowering youth and transforming communities through compassionate, strategic service. Our mission is to cultivate a generation of socially conscious leaders who understand that meaningful change begins with individual action and collective commitment. We believe in creating opportunities for young people to develop critical life skills, engage in impactful community service, and become catalysts for positive social transformation. By providing structured learning environments and meaningful service opportunities, we aim to inspire our members to look beyond themselves and recognize their potential to make a tangible difference.
